¡Hola! MugglePay is Now Available in Spanish
We are thrilled to announce that MugglePay checkout form is now available in Spanish. This will help merchants access the South American market and provide a more localized experience for paying users.
With the depreciation of FIAT, South America has gradually become one of the regions with the highest crypto holding rate, and the number of currency holders is almost equal to North America. Since the first edition of the Argentine peso was printed, the currency of 1,000 pesos has lost 85% of its original denomination. Since the first edition was put into circulation in December 2017, by May 2020, its purchasing power value has fallen from USD 57.37 to only USD 8.44. This only took two and a half years.
More and more Latin Americans come to the crypto world. Since January 2018, the weekly transaction volume of Bitcoins purchased with Argentine pesos has increased by 1028%. According to CoinDance’s data, since 2018, Venezuela’s Bitcoin transaction volume on LocalBitcoins has been second only to Russia, and on par with the United States.
In addition to Venezuela, another South American country worth noting is Colombia. Chainalysis ranks the global cryptocurrency index based on the value of the cryptocurrency received on the chain, the value of the transfer on the chain, the number of recharged cryptocurrencies on the chain, and the trading volume of exchanges. Among the 154 countries analyzed, Venezuela and Colombia are leading the way in adopting encryption technology. There are also merchants from Colombia on the MugglePay platform.

On June 30, 2021, the MugglePay checkout form was fully upgraded, the access performance was greatly improved, and the Spanish version was available. This update will help merchants greatly increase the payment conversion rate of the payment page, and at the same time improve the user experience of user payments, and update the payment confirmation status on the blockchain instant.
